Proper, accessible online resources were necessary for newcomers to Manitoba. Manlab and Immigration Manitoba made it happen.

Background
Manlab and Immigration Manitoba embarked on a four-year partnership to evaluate Immigration Manitoba’s online strategy to better serve newcomers to the province both before and after arriving in the province.
   
What We Did
The first year of our partnership with Immigration Manitoba saw a complete reorganization and redesign of their website, with content imported into Manlab’s miUpdate content management system. The following year we developed online tools – surveys, activities and the like – to help newcomers. Currently in the third year of the partnership, we are in the process of expanding content to address settlement and pre-arrival issues.

Results
Immigration Manitoba’s website (www.immigratemanitoba.com) has seen a steady increase in traffic since becoming a far more useful resource to newcomers and potential immigrants.
